So you couldn’t accuse Madonna of not heeding to her own advice after deciding to grow out her underarm hair and post a picture of the results online.
Yes, she really has done this.
The 55-year-old Queen of Pop took to Instagram to share the world’s first underarm hair selfie, and true to type, was far from apologetic about her actions.
She captioned the picture: “Long hair...... Don't Care!!!!!! #artforfreedom #rebelheart #revolutionoflove”
Madonna may not care but her followers were certainly taken aback by the eyebrow raising picture.
One user wrote: “I'm sorry but seriously you need to shave,” while another simply put: “Disgusting.”
The second best display of celebrity armpit hair (Julia Roberts still retains her crown, sorry Madge), is the one of many questionable pictures Madonna has shared online over the past few weeks.
In another revealing picture, since deleted by the star, Madonna could be seen wearing fishnets, a corset and bra alongside the caption: “Looking for Love in all the wrong places! Fear makes you focus... #rebelheart”
Right.
And who could forget her baffling method of cleaning her shower screen with her tongue?
Someone should probably tell her a bottle of Cilit Bang and a sponge would do a far more effective job.
