Aiza proposes to girlfriend Liza
And she said 'Yes!'
Singer-actress Aiza Seguerra is now enganged to her girlfriend, former beauty queen Liza Dino.
Aiza proposed to fellow stage actress Liza during the play "Kung Paano Maghiwalay" at Teatro Hermogenes Ylagan in University of the Philippines Diliman, on Friday, February 7.
Liza previously posted on Instagram about the play, saying that it was "a dream come true" for her to work with Aiza. In a comment after th on the photo she posted, Liza said the play was just a "setup."
A video posted by the couple's friend Toni Co showed Aiza was on her bended knee when she popped the question, while holding the ring. Looking overwhelmed, Liza went emotional as Aiza hugged and kissed her.
Aiza's sweet proposal drew loud cheers from the crowd. Aiza's parents were also present, as they were seen clapping for the happy couple.
Liza and Aiza have yet to post about their engagement, but they already thanked their well-wishers on Twitter and Instagram. Liza tweeted that she is "overflowing with happiness."
There is also no news yet when and where the wedding will be since same-sex marriage isn't allowed yet in the Philippines.
In a previous interview, Aiza said that meeting Liza again in 2013 after so many years was the highlight of her 2013.
