Baselworld 2014: new bracelet for Frédérique Constant Slimline Moonphase Manufacture

The now iconic Slimline Moonphase Manufacture by Frédérique Constant, available until now only with a leather strap, will be presented with a stainless steel bracelet at the next edition of Baselworld (March 27-April 3). This new version is priced at €2,790 (around $3830).

With a bracelet made entirely of polished stainless steel, this new, more refined version of the watch seems poised to upstage the original. Within a 42mm case, the watch has a domed dial available in two colors: silver or blue.

The Swiss watchmaker outfitted this timepiece with the self-winding FC-705 movement, which indicates hours, minutes, date and moonphase. The latter complication allows the wearer to identify four lunar phases: new moon, full moon, first quarter and third quarter.

With a 42-hour power reserve, the watch is worn on a stainless steel bracelet with seven rows of links, allowing the perfect fit on any wrist.
