Gab Valenciano is invading the world one super selfie at a time.

This time though, the Filipino dancer makes a name for himself in the film industry by way of filming his signature lively and wacky dance moves in outlandish costumes.

Gary Valenciano and Angeli Pangilinan’s second son felt honored when his super selfie videos were shown at the UCLA (University of California at Los Angeles), one of the top schools in the United States.

"Such an honor to be the first Filipino featured on @helloflux at the @hammer_museum as a filmmaker. I am in awe. Thanks everyone for learning the words, Magaling, Maligaya and Mabuhay! Awesome! #blessed#superselfieflux," he said on Instagram.

There the crowd was seen speaking some Tagalog words in chorus.

Angeli proudly told Yahoo Philippines that filmmakers from the UK, New York and San Francisco attended the event which gathered a creative community of film, art, music and design.

The Hammer Museum in UCLA picked Gab to talk about his work as a filmmaker.

Taking the digital world by storm

In December, Gab Valenciano scored another first by being featured in the YouTube Rewind Video which celebrates ”the moments, memes and people that made 2014.”

It can be recalled that the Pinoy performer attained his Youtube celebrity status when his super selfie videos went viral.

He then caught the attention of global superstar Beyonce’s team, who contacted the Filipino artist since they wanted to “recreate” his super selfie videos for the Queen B’s music video, "7/11.”

Gab recently directed American Idol first runner-up Jessica Sanchez’s latest video, “This Love.”

He also auditioned in 9th season of “America’s Got Talent,” but backed out to “pursue permanent” for his career.

Gab flew to the United States in 2013 to study music at Full Sail University in Florida. He’s engaged to marry his fiancée Tricia Centenera in a still unannounced date.
