James Reid and Nadine Lustre radiate that loving feeling
James Reid and Nadine Lustre, Jadine to fans, are not an item off-cam. And yet, they make fans swoon and scream to high heavens every time they look at each other, hold hands, and smile at each other.
The tandem couldn’t have picked a better time to pack in the Ayala Terraces Fairview Activity Center than Saturday, February 14, Valentine’s Day. Every love song Jadine performed, as a tandem or as James and Nadine separately, made the venue shake with thunderous applause.
What’s their secret?
“Fans love us ‘cause we can make them feel loved,” James offered.
Little surprises
Nadine’s caring ways warms James’ heart.
“She’s always taking care of me, giving me vitamins, asking me if I’m hungry.”
The ‘we’ mentality has drawn James and Nadine even closer.
“We understand and support each other,” says Nadine.
She doesn’t mind if James gets tactless at times – a trait which the latter appreciates and rewards with little surprises, like balloons which he sent one busy morning to Nadine’s dressing room.
Similarities and differences
Other surprises the whole Valentine’s Day are coming, he promised.
The appreciation is mutual.
“James taught me to become more understanding. Before, maliit na bagay lang, negative na. Now, I’m more open-minded and look at the other side of things.”
It also helps that James and Nadine love vintage cars and music.
Multi-tasking
The Kapamilya love team will be seen next in the movie “Para sa Hopeless Romantic” and teleserye “On the Wings of Love.”
This means James and Nadine, self-confessed hopeless romantics, will be multi-tasking (e.g. downloading music while having their hair and makeup done) more and more.
