Jasmine Curtis admits she’s the jealous type

Young loves Sam Concepcion and Jasmine Curtis

Jasmine Curtis may not show it. But like most young women in love, the green-eyed monster does rear its ugly head when she’s with boyfriend Sam Concepcion.

“Oo, selosa din ako (since Sam is also the jealous type). But I don’t take it seriously. Ayaw kong paramdaman sa tayo yon kasi ayaw ko ma-pressure. Quiet lang ako,” she said after the presscon of “Wattpad Presents A House Full of Hunks.”

Besides, Jasmine points out, if she sees no reason to really be jealous, why give Sam the silent treatment or confront him about imaginary things?

Lover of surprises

The Kapatid actress admits that like all normal couples, she and Sam argue.  But she’s not telling why.

And with Valentine’s Day just a week away, Jasmine is fine even if she doesn’t get things boyfriends usual give their special someone -- like flowers and chocolates.

“I’m not disappointed. I find it sweeter if it’s a surprise rather than hintayin mo mangyari.”

Rather than wait for a special day once a year like Valentine’s, Jasmine prefers making everyday magical for her and Sam.

Most memorable Valentine’s Day

“Dapat araw araw feeling special.”

Jasmine singles out a Valentine’s Day around five or six years ago when her Australia-based mom relieved her from school-induced stress. Jasmine, then a high school student back in Australia, just got off the bus and went home.

“Stressed ako sa exams. Pagbukas ko ng pinto, may maliit na paper na may nakasulat, ‘To my dear daughter.’ Tapos may necklace with a heart from my mom.”

To this day, Jasmine remembers that special moment with a smile.

Anne Curtis’ younger sister has more reasons to smile these days. Aside from starring in TV5’s “House Full of Hunks” (Monday to Friday, 9 p.m.), where she plays snobbish and bratty Venice Montes, Jasmine has an ongoing movie “Halik sa Hangin,” and a upcoming one with Regal Films.

Staying put in TV5

That’s why she sees no reason in leaving TV5, despite rumors that she’s moving to another network.

“I’m happy with where I am. Wala sa akin ang ingay na ganyan. I would rather people don’t think like that.”

As for KathNiel (Kathryn Bernardo-Daniel Padilla) fans still bashing her over the audio scandal where Daniel was rumored to have talked to Jasmine, the Kapatid actress says, “I will not try to break anything, especially the audience’s trust.”

Jasmine has moved on. She just hopes her bashers, will, too.

“A House Full of Hunks” also stars Vin Abrenica, Charlie Sutcliffe, Sandino Martin, John Spainhour, Albie Casino and others.
