Another showbiz couple have called it quits.

Kapamilya actress Kaye Abad revealed during the February 21 episode of "Kris TV" that she has broken up with longtime boyfriend Guji Lorenzana.

She did not delve into details,  but shared that she isn't seeing someone new. The former couple remain friends, although Kaye believes this is not ideal. 

Harder to do

"I try to (stay friends). Mas gusto niya. Pero mas mahirap kasi hindi siya makaka-move on," Kaye told host Kris Aquino.

The 31-year-old actress believes in what other people say that it would take at least three months before she can start dating again.

"Pero hindi mo masasabi kung may mami-meet ka."

Last year, Kaye said in an interview that although she thinks Guji is husband material, she isn't ready to settle down anytime soon. She explained that fear of a failed marriage is keeping her from rushing into it.

"Hindi ko pa nararamdaman na mag-settle down. Kasi ang bilis lang sabihin na gusto kong pagpakasal, tapos pwede kayong magpakasal anytime. Tapos ang dami ko pang nakakausap na nanay at tatay na nagsasabi na kapag nag-asawa na kayo, doon mo pa lang malalaman yung totoong ugali kapag magksama na kayo sa bahay.  Parang ayaw ko muna."
