List of newly starred Michelin restaurants in Spain and Portugal

Spain, a longstanding hotbed of avant-garde, trailblazing cuisine, saw its Michelin star count go up in the latest 2014 edition of the red guide, despite a difficult economic context.

Overall, the star haul for Spain and Portugal rose from 158 last year to 171 this year.
