Paulo Avelino still wooing KC Concepcion
Miles of ocean separating them won’t stop Paulo Avelino from courting KC Concepcion, who is now in the US to pursue her studies.
"We communicate. Siguro ang masasabi ko lang ngayon, I'm inspired," Paulo said during the farewell press conference of "Honesto" at the ABS-CBN compound.
Paulo shared that he and KC encourage and inspire each other, especially now that they're busy with their respective projects. KC left for the US early this year, while Paulo is busy shooting the primetime teleserye "Honesto," whose finale episode airs on March 14.
"She's studying, winter doon. So medyo malungkot. Syempre sometimes you just wanna inspire someone. Ganoon din naman siya, she's been inspiring me also, giving me advice."

"Let's see. Kung iyon naman ang bibigyan ng tadhana or ng Diyos, huwag nating pigilan," Paulo answered.
The actor shared that he admires KC's beauty and intelligence.
"What I like best about her, we can talk about anything. We can talk about something stupid, then tuloy-tuloy ang conversation then it can turn into something rational."
More relaxed
Unlike before, when he gave monosyllabic answers, Paulo is now more relaxed in talking to media.
"Honest naman ako. Noong mga nakaraang taon, I just didn't know how to communicate. That's what I constantly practice now, I want to be more open, especially to the press."
Paulo realized that sharing something about his personal life is part of being in showbiz.
"Kumbaga it's a way of giving back sa mga tao, na gusto rin nila na kahit papaano malaman ng kahit kaunti sa buhay ng mga artista. Dati kasi acting lang ang focus ko, bakit kailangan pang malaman ng tao ang personal ko na buhay. But parte talaga iyon as an actor. They also want to know something about your life."
