"Since our little scandal broke out, hindi na kami nakapagtrabaho together. I'm very happy that ABS-CBN, sila mismo yung nag offer sa akin na gawin yung role. Natuwa naman ako kasi okay na pala sa kanila," Ruffa said during the press conference of E!'s family reality show "It Takes Gutz to be a Gutierrez."

Still friends

The mother of two shared that she and John Lloyd have remained friends.

"Matagal na yung nangyari sa amin. We talk once in awhile and nagkikita kami sa mga gatherings. For me to be able to work again on a project, whether it is with Star Cinema or ABS-CBN, I'll be very honored because he's a very good actor," she said.

Ruffa is happy to get positive feedback about her guesting in ABS-CBN's sitcom "Home Sweetie Home," which topbills John Lloyd and Toni Gonzaga.   John Lloyd and Ruffa last worked together two years ago in the teleserye "Betty La Fea," where they reportedly grew close.

"All's well that ends well, happy lahat and like what I said, who wouldn't want to work with someone like John Lloyd? Nagbibiruan kami, nag-offer siya ng chicharon. Masasabi ko na napakaganda ng working relationship namin. I'm very comfortable with him," Ruffa said.

Nothing  to worry about

Asked if John Lloyd's girlfriend Angelica Panganiban might get jealous, Ruffa replied that  her fellow actress has nothing to worry about.

"Iba kami noon, iba na din kami ngayon. Siyempre kailangan respetuhin din natin yung kanyang karelasyon. Napakabait naman sa akin (ni Angelica)."

Ruffa added, "I respect relationships and ayaw ko naman isipin din ng karelasyon niya ngayon na andyan ako, na nakikisingit. Friends na lang."

Istanbul-bound

Ruffa, who is currently single, shared that she and her daughters Lorin and Venice might go to Istanbul because her former husband Yilmaz Bektas wants to see little girls.

"I won't naman plan to go to Istanbul just to tape "It Takes Gutz to be a Gutierrez." If that happens, since Yilmaz has been asking me to bring the kids to Istanbul, it would be a perfect place since may camera. Takot naman ako pumunta doon mag-isa."

Ruffa and Yilmaz last saw each other in 2008. Ruffa shared that her mother Annabelle Rama was worried about her plan to go to Istanbul. It will be recalled that Ruffa admitted she was a victim of domestic violence while she was still living with her former husband.

"Nagpaalam ako sa kanya late last year na dadalhin ko ang mga bata sa Istanbul. Sabi ko na okay na, ayos na ang lahat. The kids are big na, I don't think anything will happen. Naloka siya. Sabi ko, 'Ma, okay na kami ni Yilmaz. His family wants to see the kids. So, we're gonna go to Istanbul.' Naloka daw siya, hindi raw siya makatulog for ten days," Ruffa said.
