Year in Review 2014: How well do you know the most searched song lyrics in PH?
The most searched song lyric of the year comes from a 2013 animated movie soundtrack that never broke the Top 10 singles chart.
And yet it continued to sell and sell and sell well into this year.
Thus, Idina Menzel’s “Let It Go,” from the animated blockbuster “Frozen,” lands on the top spot of Yahoo Philippines’ most searched song lyrics of the year.

While that’s no surprise, this one is: our National Anthem. Yes, the words to “Lupang Hinirang” is the 19th most searched in 2014.
Three other homegrown tunes are also on the list: “Dati” by Sam Concepcion, “Mahal Ko o Mahal Ako” by KZ Tandingan and “Magkabilang Mundo” by Jireh Lim.
But old tunes continued to be searched, thanks in part to nonstop covers, including Luther Vandross's 2003 hit "Dance with My Father," recently interpreted with Tagalog lyrics by "The Voice Kids" grand champ Lyca Gairanod.
