  • Pinoy fans can’t get enough of Lee Min Ho

    Hallyu superstar Lee Min Ho ("Boys over Flowers," "City Hunter") delighted the Filipino fans who call themselves Minoz during his  one-hour fan meeting on Nov. 16, 2012 at the Araneta Coliseum.

  • Girls’ Generation, EXO, Infinite, U-KISS confirmed for PH K-Pop concert

    K-Pop fans rejoice! The year 2013 will start off with a big K-Pop bang!

    Rumors have been circulating for months and finally, there is a confirmation. Happee Sy of Pulp Live! recently tweeted: "Lineup for Dream Kpop Fantasy: Girls Generation, EXO K&M, Infinite, U-KISS, Tasty, Tahiti. Date: Jan. 19, 2013. Venue: SM MOA Open Grounds."

    This is definitely a dream come true for many K-Pop fans, especially as Girls Generation, EXO and Infinite will be performing in the country for the first time.

    Girls' Generation, also known as Sonyeo Shidae, is a superstar K-Pop idol group managed by SM Entertainment (Super Junior, SHINee).   • Why we still love K-pop star Sandara Park

    Last Oct. 24, Filipino K-Pop fans were blown away by phenomenal Hallyu superstars Big Bang in an unforgettable concert at the Mall of Asia Arena. What the fans didn't anticipate was the arrival of another K-Pop superstar, Sandara Park of Hallyu group 2NE1, who flew in to support her YG Entertainment labelmates.

    Sandara Park, also known as Dara, holds a special place in the hearts of many Filipino K-Pop fans. Having lived in the Philippines with her family from 1994 to 2007, Park is comfortable with Pinoy culture and fluent in the language.

    In 2004, after placing second to Hero Angeles in ABS-CBN's "Star Circle Quest" reality talent competition, she launched a successful entertainment career, until 2007, when it was revealed to a stunned public that she would be part of a new girl group, 2NE1, that would go on to become a runaway K-Pop success.

  • Part 2: Big Bang Manila concert’s Top 10 moments

    Hallyu superstar Big Bang graced the Philippines recently for the Manila stop of their BigBang Alive Galaxy Tour 2012. VIPs, the name of Big Bang fans, flocked to the Mall of Asia Arena on Oct. 24 to witness the K-Pop concert of the year as G-Dragon, Taeyang, T.O.P., Daesung and Seungri performed for thousands of VIPs.

    5. Taeyang: The Dancing Dynamo. The dancing prowess of Taeyang is legendary among Big Bang fans.  Witnessing his energy and dynamism up close is a completely different experience. From start to finish, Taeyang amazed fans as he swayed, swagged, popped and tumbled (twice!) for all his VIPs to behold. His solo performances which included "Look Only at Me" and "Wedding Dress" made Taeyang's amazing talents shine even more.
