Charice’s second single used in Oprah’s network

Oprah Winfrey, the Queen of Daytime TV, never stops supporting YouTube sensation and now international star Charice Pempengco. Charice's song, "Louder," is now being used as the background music of a promotional video in the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN).

Charice was dubbed by Oprah as the world's most talented girl, paving the way for Charice's international career when the young singer impressed the host when she appeared in the talk show "Oprah" in 2008.

Since then, Oprah has been helping Charice with her international career and continued to have her as a guest in her highly-rated talk show, which just ended its 25-year run this year.

"Louder" is an upbeat and inspiring song, an apt choice to promote the second season of OWN, which shows Oprah and other talents, comic Rosie O' Donnell and journalist Lisa Ling in their upcoming episodes. OWN, a venture of Harpo Productions and Discovery Communications, was launched last January 1 with its second season starting this October.

Charice released "Louder" last May as the second single of her second album. This is not the first time that "Louder" was used for a TV show. It was also heard in a Japanese morning TV show, "Mezamashi TV." The song was the main theme song for the spring season, playing during the daily horoscope segment.

Charice, now in the U.S. to fulfill commitments, will return to Asia in September to perform at the Formula One (F1) Singapore Grand Prix. Then, she will be back to Manila in October for another concert with her mentor David Foster and other international artists.
