Big Bang releases ‘Alive’ and new MV ‘Bad Boy’

After a month of teasing fans with photos and videos, Hallyu stars Big Bang finally released their newest mini-album titled "Alive." The album coincides with the release of their second MV titled "Bad Boy," a follow-up to their first MV "Blue."

Without a doubt, VIPs or Big Bang's fans from all over the world will be ecstatic with this latest release as the boys continue to delight with their fresh sounds and cool fashions. After launching a soft-tempo R&B track "Blue," Big Bang serves another helping of the "break-up" theme in "Bad Boy." The track has a faster pace composed of signature G-Dragon rap and melodic vocals from Daesung, Seungri and Taeyang. Of course, T.O.P.'s unmistakeable masculine rap is heard at the middle and end of the track.

"Bad Boy" is quintessential Big Bang and I am loving it. It has the innovative electronica feel that is very Big Bang yet it offers something fresh and new. As if the track itself is not enough to please fans, the MV is also a work of art. Utilizing the "modified" single-shot technique similar to Spice Girls' "Wannabe," Kylie Minogue's "Come Into My World" and Barbie's Cradle's "Money for Food," the shots and choreography for the MV is so smooth that the viewer is mesmerized by the events happening. The fashions including the hairstyles are, as expected, groundbreaking.
