‘Girlfriend’ is new Jay Park single

Korean singer Jay Park (Link: http://ph.omg.yahoo.com/blogs/okpop/jay-park-love-affair-philippines-114731799.html), who recently visited Manila as one of the top billed artists at MTV EXIT (End Exploitation and Trafficking), has released his new single, "Girlfriend," to Korean digital retailers. The album art has also been made available to fans, who are excited about its modern feel. The cover features Jay Park's handsome face depicted in a modern digital-art inspired image. Atop the image are the words "Fresh Prince of Seoul" and "Admillionaire."

K-Pop fans will recall Park's excellent take on the American #1 hit "Nothin' on You" by UK rapper B.O.B. and Fil-American singer Bruno Mars. The multi-talented Korean entertainer put his own spin on the song in English and Korean.

In "Girlfriend," Park raps and sings again over a catchy keyboard hook as he sings about how irresistible he finds the object of his affections. A joint production of both Park and producers Da Beatfreakz, "Girlfriend" is available for music download on various music sites, including Melon. Word isn't out yet on whether Park will be promoting "Girlfriend" in Korea, but given that Music Bank allowed him to promote his April 2011 single, "Abandoned," there is a good possibility Jaywalkers - as Jay Park's fans are known - will be able to see him on Korean television soon.
