Girls’ Generation continues US invasion

After the success with their latest release "The Boys" which was available in Korean and English and the release of the addicting iPhone/iPad application Girls' Generation SHAKE (Link: http://ph.omg.yahoo.com/blogs/okpop/girls-generation-shake-hits-apple-store-051924542.html), K-Pop queens Girls' Generation continues their US invasion through the launch of their official US website, http://www.girlsgenerationusa.com last November 23.

GirlsGenerationUSA.com (Link: http://www.girlsgenerationusa.com), the girls' official US online home, features Girls' Generation's latest music video, career biography, photos, discography, and news. The website was obviously designed to introduce the girls to the US market and highlight their already established hallyu star status. In the biography section, the girls' achievements inlcuding winning several prestigious awards including the Grand Prize at the Golden Disk Awards for two years in a row (2009 and 2010) was presented alongside their consecutive "Singer of the Year" awards and crossover success in Japan.

Girls' Generation, considered the queens of K-Pop and referred to as "the stars who can't do anything wrong", is surely putting in all efforts to officially break into the US market. What do you think of their efforts? Do you think they have what it takes to usher in a US invasion or will this be an attempt that may well become their first biggest failure?
