JYJ ‘In Heaven’ set for local release

It looks like one of my K-Pop wishes for 2012 is coming true! The month of love is starting up pretty rosy for JYJ fans because it is confirmed that JYJ's notable album "In Heaven" will be released within the month.

JYJ is composed of former-TVXQ members Jaejoong, Yuchun and Junsu. About their album, they expressed that: "We are very delighted to make our music heard by fans after the long break. The songs are already released during our world tour and most of the songs are telling our own stories. It is meaningful to show JYJ itself with this music."

"In Heaven" contains a total of ten tracks including the title track "In Heaven" written by Jaejoong himself. The music video of "In Heaven" also featured the acting talents of fellow member Junsu and is one of the most tear-jerking music videos of 2011.

"In Heaven" is indeed an achievement for JYJ, who were unable to publicly promote the album due to certain hurdles. Regardless of the lack of promotions, the power of JYJ revealed itself in sales figures.

Pre-orders and sales for "In Heaven" registered at 300,000 copies within a few weeks of its release. In addition, tracks from the album such as "In Heaven", "Get Out" and "Fallen Leaves" caused a stir in Korean online music stores including Melon, M-net, Bugs, Dosirak, and Cyworld BGM. This impressive sales performance only goes to show that K-Pop lovers are waiting for their music.

JYJ's "In Heaven" is exclusively distributed by PolyEast Records and will beavailable on February 25 during the CassPH "9G: The Red Exhibit" fan gathering at the Top Shelf, 5th Level, Fully Booked, Fort Bonifacio Taguig.
