K-Pop invades the SMART TV
Good news to tech-savvy K-Pop fans who can't get enough of K-Pop!
K-Pop is set to invade the latest media technology called the "Smart TV". Smart TVs, sometimes called "Hybrid TV", integrates the interactive capabilities of the Internet with classic television entertainment. A modern marvel in technology, "Smart TVs" offer flexibility and extends the capabilities of the television to accessing Internet multimedia content, running game consoles, and of course, running cable channels and other systems.
Filipino K-Pop fans will be glad to know that LG, one of Korea's biggest technology companies, is offering free access to one of their latest apps called the "KPOP Zone". This application is available through the dashboard of LG's latest Cinema 3D Smart TVs. Using the KPOP Zone app, viewers have free and unlimited access to a myriad of KPOP performances including 3D concerts, live concerts and music videos.
It is clear to see that K-Pop love is spreading like wildfire as well respected companies including the genre in their products.
