Lee Min Ho’s “City Hunter” premieres in Korea

"Boys Over Flowers" and "Perfect Match" star Lee Min Ho's new drama "City Hunter" has formally started in Korea via the SBS channel. The handsome actor has expressed his nervousness and worry as he anticipates fan reactions to his first headlining foray into action drama. Lee Min Ho expressed that: "I am confident since many people who have watched it told me it was great. I wish they are right. I could not sleep because I was waiting for the viewers' opinions. I hope I receive good reviews."

It seems that Lee Min Ho has nothing to worry about since the first episode was tremendously supported by his fans. As if having Lee Min Ho in the drama is not enough to hook them, SBS officially released sizzling hot still photos of the actor revealing his hard-earned physique in a shower scene deemed important in portraying the battle wounds of "Yoon Sung", the undercover Blue House officer he plays. As reported by Yahoo! OMG!, Lee Min Ho took time and effort in preparing his body for this action drama and it really shows.

"City Hunter" is inspired by the original Japanese manga created by Tsukasa Hojo which has been adapted in animation and the big screen. The Korean drama also features the talents of Park Min-Young ("SungKyunKwan Scandal"), Lee Jun Hyuk ("I Am Legend"), Hwang Sun-Hee ("Sign"), and Goo Ha Ra of girl group KARA.
