U-KISS reveals new members
It is extremely difficult to replace the original and much-loved members of an idol group but NH Media, the management of popular idol group U-KISS is making the attempt.
After announcing the departure of original U-KISS members Alexander Eusebio and Kim Kibum last month, NH Media has officially released the identity of their replacement members. The new members include AJ, a rapper from a former boy band PARAN, and Hoon, a singer and actor who also appeared in a cameo role in the recently concluded Korean action drama "Athena."
As expected, the U-KISS fans KissMes, are divided in their reactions to the new members. Some are happy and pledge their support to the new members while others continue to express their undying commitment to Alexander and Kibum.
Dongho, one of the U-KISS members sought the fans' support through his Twitter saying "It has been a while. First, I would like to apologize for the uncomfortable news our fans had to hear but for our loving brothers Alexander and Kibum, I request that you continue to give them your love and interest. As for our brothers AJ and Hoon Min who will now be leading U-KISS with us, I ask for you to give them your encouragement and love. I love you all. I know our fans are very upset right now, but Alexander and Kibum and even our new members AJ and Hoon Min are all family under U-KISS! Please do not be too upset, and please continue to support us! All nine of us will be working hard to avoid disappointing you! Once again, please watch over us!"
Filipino U-KISS fans who want to have a keepsake of Alexander and Kibum's activities with U-KISS can purchase the DVD of their 2010 Philippine concert "FIRST KISS TOUR IN MANILA" which will be released locally on April 2. The KissMes will surely be watching the new members when U-KISS releases their comeback album mid-March. AJ and Hoon will have to show an impressive image to garner the support of the fans.
