Angel Locsin ready to find 'new love'
Two years after breaking up with Luis Manzano, Angel Locsin is ready for a new love in 2011.
The "Imortal" lead star revealed that being single for two years helped her become a more mature person. But she also admitted that there were times when she missed the feeling of being able to care for someone romantically.
"Siyempre nami-miss mo rin yung may inaalagaan ka di ba? Nami-miss mo 'yung pag uuwi ka may ite-text ka, yung mga ganun. Good thing na rin siguro kasi nag-mature ako, marami akong natutunan na mga bagay na 'to. Dahil dito I'm excited. I'm excited for a new love, a new beginning," Angel revealed on "SNN" on Monday, January 3.
Still, Angel is not rushing to be romantically involved right away. She said she will patiently wait until the right man comes along.
"Pag dumating naman yung tamang tao para sa 'yo, hindi mo na maco-control 'yun. Sana pero hindi naman ako nagmamadali. I know naman na hindi ganun kadali 'yun," said Angel.
A movie with Aga
Aside from her hit primetime series "Imortal," Angel is "anxious and excited" about her upcoming movie with a new leading man, Aga Muhlach. The movie will be helmed by premier director, Olivia Lamasan. "Actually, kinakabahan ako. Si Direk Olive Lamasan yung magiging direktor namin dito. Itong movie na 'to wala ako sa comfort zone ko," she said.
Reports say that the highly anticipated action-drama film will be entitled "Huling Sayaw," a movie which will revolve around the life of two dancers, a storyline that will also have a political theme.
After the movie, rumors have it that Aga will officially join TV5. He has reportedly signed a multimillion-peso deal with the said network. Talks about Angel Locsin moving to the Kapatid network has also been circulating since Aga and Angel share the same talent manager, Ethel Ramos.
