Anne hoping for airline move over ring loss

After arriving from Korea last February 1, Anne Curtis tweeted her dismay over her flight with Cathay Pacific after her new Amethyst ring got stolen.

"So sad about my flight on Cathay Pacific.... My new Amethyst ring got stolen," Anne tweeted. "Sad because they found the paper bag in the blanket storage area then the box of my ring in the upper deck compartment area far from my seat. Someone took it in the span of 30minutes. So sad. So disappointed with Cathay Pacific."

Days later, in a tape interview for "The Buzz" last Sunday, Anne said that the airline company had already addressed her concern but she is still hoping that Cathay Pacific will honor its promise.

"Well so far Cathay Pacific has been in touch with me and nag-apologize sila sa nangyari. And so far, they said they're willing to compensate for the loss. So tignan natin, sana they really push through with it. Although they gave their word naman that they will. So aantayin ko na lang," Anne said in a taped interview for "The Buzz" after her press conference for her upcoming movie with Luis Manzano entitled "Who's That Girl."

The amethyst ring that Anne bought as a gift for herself cost $600. So far, no one knows for sure who took the ring but an investigation is ongoing.

Meanwhile, after the incident, Anne remains optimistic, especially now that a new series "Green Rose" with Jericho Rosales will soon air. Her reunion movie, "Who's that Girl" with Luis Manzano will also be in theaters soon.
