Another daughter of Gabby enters showbiz

Following the footsteps of her father Gabby and half-sister KC, Garrie Concepcion is also entering the world of show business.

It was late last year when Garrie expressed her intentions of joining the industry. When the opportunity came, the up and coming singer gladly accepted.

"Since I was three I've been singing, doing something I like to do. And when I got the opportunity to share my talent hindi ko na siya tinanggihan," Garrie said in an interview with ABS-CBN's "Showbiz News Ngayon," on Thursday, March 17.

Unlike her half-sister KC, Garrie prefers to focus more on singing than acting.

"I'm not closing my doors to acting. Pero ngayon ito talaga ang gusto kong subukan, ang singing."

Garrie's upcoming album will have 12 original tracks with one song revival of 'I Can,' the theme song of the 90's hit movie 'Do Re Mi' sung originally by Regine Velasquez, Donna Cruz and Mikee Cojuangco.

"It's ['I Can'] something that talks about life in general. That you can do whatever. I can live. I can love. You only live your life once. It's full of life. The song is full of life and full of hope. It's just how we should all live life," she said.

Garrie also shared that her sister KC and father Gabby fully support her decision to enter show business.

"With Ate naman she always tells me to love what I'm doing and do what I love," revealed Garrie."Papa is supportive also. Actually, sinasabi naman niya before na as much as possible ayaw niya but since 'yung mga daughters niya 'yung may gusto, siyempre supportive siya."

Garrie or Gabrielle her real name is Gabby Concepcion's daughter with fashion model and businesswoman Grace Ibuna.
