  • Something's got to give.

In earlier reports, Toni Gonzaga announced that she and veteran comedian-host Vic Sotto will be doing a movie this year. However, because of Toni's inclusion in the new ABS-CBN noontime show "Happy Yipee Yehey!," the reunion film will no longer happen.

The Kapamilya show will be on the same timeslot of "Eat Bulaga!," the noontime show on GMA-7 that Vic continues to host. In the local entertainment industry, talents from competing television shows on rival networks are normally prohibited from engaging in showbiz projects; a policy stipulated in their talent contracts.

"Yeah hindi na siya tuloy, because of this (Happy Yipee Yehey!). So, ganoon po talaga, maraming mga bagay na kung hindi para sa 'tin hindi para sa 'tin. Yung kay Robin hindi na tuloy, tapos ito (movie with Vic) medyo nasasanay na rin naman. Pero ang maganda naman kaya hindi natuloy dahil may magandang kapalit din naman. So tingnan na lang natin yung good effect," Toni told entertainment reporters in

He added that because of what happened, he decided to resign from his other show, the Sunday noontime variety program "PO5."

"Sa PO5 po, I had to resign. 'Yung sitcom ko po sa TV5, nalaman ko lang that management decided na aalisin na po ako. Hindi naman po siguro tayo... Kung alam naman po natin kung paano mag-isip, we can read between the lines."

Before he accepted the offer to host the noontime show "Happy Yipee Yehey!" on ABS-CBN, John made it clear to ABS-CBN Channel 2 chief Cory Vidanes and Entertainment TV head

  • ABS-CBN's upcoming noontime variety show "Happy Yipee Yehey" is being plagued with intrigue as its male hosts, John Estrada and Randy Santiago received disapproving remarks from longtime friend Willie Revillame.

In a "Willing Willie" episode last January 26, Willie aired his side over John and Randy's decision to accept a noontime show that has the same timeslot with his cancelled program "Wowowee."

"Masama talaga ang loob ko. Masama ang loob ko dahil inayos ko na kay Mr. MVP [Manny V. Pangilinan], kay Mr. Ray [Espinosa]. Pero kung diyan kayo masaya, sa taong nanakit sa akin, nanakit sa atin dati, diyan na lang kayo," Willie said while talking with John over the phone while "Willing Willie" was on air last January 26.

Willie, John and Randy hosted the ABS-CBN noontime show "Magandang Tanghali Bayan" from 1998 to 2005. The network subsequently reformatted the show to only headline Willie in the program "Wowowee."

"Wowowee" was then canceled on July 31 last year after Willie went on

  • The Willing Willie girls may not appear like your average women, but beyond their make-up and sexy image, the all-girl group of Willing Willie are normal like everyone else - so normal that like most people, they too get into feuds.

But that chapter of their lives is finally over. After their suspension in January, the WW.girls reveal that they have found the light at the end of the tunnel as they shared their experiences during and after their suspension in an exclusive interview with Yahoo! Southeast Asia.

"Okay lang naman. Lahat nagcocooperate naman. Wala ng...unlike before nagkakagulo pa. Wala ng ganun," said Lovely and April who spoke for the whole group.

Though not revealing too much, the girls admitted that their misunderstanding ultimately led to the three-day suspension that rattled the show's viewers last month.

"Hindi misunderstanding lang. Parang ano naman po kasi, di ba po magkakapatid, nagkakatampuhan, may nagkwekwento sa ama [Willie] namin, sa boss namin so siyempre parang

  • “Mara Clara” star Kathryn Bernardo may have learned about series co-star John Manalo’s real feelings towards her but it seems the young actress knows her priorities.

In a recent press conference to announce the second season of the hit ABS-CBN series, Kathryn said she already has her mind set on her studies and career but thanked John anyway for admitting that he likes her.

"Si John kasi parang best friends po kami. Since bata pa po kami parang magkapatid po kami. Ayun thank you," said Kathryn.

John, who plays Eris in the series, had admitted that he “likes” Kathryn and told her about his true feelings towards her personally but it was apparent, he said, that she did not take it seriously.

"Kasi ako po yung taong palabiro, jolly so hindi po nila ako sineseryoso. Inaamin ko po na napaka spontaneous kong tao parang weird pa nga yung paningin nila sa 'kin kasi sobrang bilis talaga ng takbo ng utak ko, minsan ako rin naguguluhan din ako sa utak ko kasi parang bawat bagay may snap, may idea.
