Debutante Empress ready for 'mature' roles

Dropping her last name is not just one of the changes that the "Empress of Drama" is facing.

Empress Schuck, now simply called Empress, will soon be turning 18, a transition that will soon allow her to accept more serious and mature roles.

Southeast Asia during the press conference for her upcoming debut on February 20.

Aside from being ready for more mature roles, the young actress added that she can now accept suitors. However, getting into a relationship is not part of her immediate plans especially now that she is prioritizing her family and career more than anything.

The debutante also shared her birthday wishes with entertainment reporters who were present during the press conference.

On February 20, Empress will celebrate her birthday at the Grand Terrace and will be wearing a Pepsi Herrera gown. Her closest friends and co-workers in and out of show business are in her guest list including Churigogobaschu, Robi Domingo, Enchong Dee, Felix Roco, Matt Evans, Ejay Falcon, Aaron Villaflor, and Isabelle Abiera. Richard Poon, 3AM and The Voizboyz are also her guest performers. The debut will have a rocker chic theme, with pink and black motif. Empress, with the help of Star Magic and her numerous sponsors will be funding the celebration.

Empress dropped her last name for better screen name recall and to follow Feng Shui suggestions.

Empress on 'Shoutout' teens

Empress is one of the hosts of the reinvented teen show, "Shoutout Level Up." How does she feel about the show's effort to further improve in the hopes of maintaining the program's airing?

Meanwhile, the young actress is mum on the alleged brewing romance between Erich Gonzales and Enrique Gil.

"Bat umamin ba sila? Siguro pareho silang friendly."
