Hayden: No apology for Sharon

Hayden Kho said he did not owe Sharon Cuneta any apology for his January 28 post on Twitter, which he maintained was not directed at her.

Hayden tweeted: "There's a billboard ad in Edsa developed by advertisers who think consumers are stupid. Guess."  People immediately associated the message to Sharon’s Marie France Bodyline billboard ad, which showed before and after pictures of Sharon losing weight.

While Hayden had already denied in a succeeding post that his controversial tweet was intended for Sharon, he asserted his claim further in an appearance on TV5’s “Paparazzi,” wherein he subbed for a vacationing Mo Twister on Sunday, February 13.  He responded to Sharon’s statements on ABS-CBN’s “The Buzz” the same day insisting that Hayden's tweet was really intended for her and not for anybody else.

There was one time na nag-guest ako sa show niya. That's all,” Hayden said.

Basically, wala kaming relationship. There's nothing there.

Hayden also recalled one person who went out of his way to launch a word war against him when he unveiled his own perfume line.  That particular person, Hayden said, was the subject of his tweets. While Hayden did not name the person in his statement on “Paparazzi,” Sharon identified the individual in her interview with “The Buzz” as Joel Cruz, who is Hayden’s competitor in the perfume business.

He also gave his own personal message to the Megastar.

"Ngayon, sorry po, bato-bato sa langit... Wala po akong sinabi, ate Sharon. I don't know... I don't feel that I have to say sorry to you, but if you feel that way, then I really can't do anything about it. Mabait kayong tao.

Hayden as the easy target

Hayden believes that in controversial situations, he is always the easy target.

Ang laban nasa akin, this is my personal battle," Hayden stressed.

He also belied rumors that his recent tweets are just publicity stunts to benefit his business and the Belo Medical Group, a beauty clinic owned by his girlfriend Vicki Belo.

"Actually, kung meron pong isang nagbe-benefit dito, it's not Belo Medical Group. I think it's more Marie France whose benefitting from this controversy and probably good for them. Kung in terms of awareness, siguro ang pinag-uusapan natin ngayon... sino? Marie France. It's probably good for them... I have nothing against that. I don't know Marie France. I haven't been to Marie France. I can only speak for Belo Medical Group because I have been a patient in Belo Medical Group. I can only say na para sa akin, Belo Medical Group, hindi ka papalpak. Very effective. But I can't say anything about Marie France because I haven't been there and I don't know their treatments," Hayden said.
