"Hindi talaga totoo kasi hindi ko talaga alam kung saan nanggagaling yung mga ganyan. Siguro dumating din naman kami sa stage na talagang nagkakalabuan dahil siyempre lahat naman dumadaan sa ganun and hopefully sana naman mas malampasan namin yung stage na 'to," John said in an interview with members of the press after the SM Accessories launch at the SM MOA Esplanade on June 8.
He added that the problem in their relationship is more of a personal matter than work-related.
John and Rachelle Ann are mainstays in rival Sunday variety programs, "ASAP Rocks" and "Party Pilpinas" respectively.
"Hindi naman namin iniisip yung trabaho. Mas more on personal so hopefully mas malagpasan talaga ang stage na 'to," he said. "Ang maganda naman sa 'min, before namin magkaron ng relationship, meron na kaming friendship eh so kung ano man ang mangyari, mananatiling magkaibigan talaga kami."

Is "Happy, Yipee, Yehey" co-host Bianca Manalo the reason why his relationship with Rachelle Ann seems to be on the rocks?
John is quick to clarify the issue.
"Wala, pamilya kami dun [sa Happy, Yipee, Yehey] eh. Kung anong meron kami, friendship talaga. Araw-araw kaming magkasama, araw-araw nagkikita so talagang nagiging close kayo," he said.
