Kim, Maja settling grudge on set?

Are Kim Chiu and Maja Salvador’s physical confrontations in the top-rating drama “Ina, Kapatid, Anak” getting too real, given their rumored tiff?

Kim and Maja taped a scene recently wherein their characters engaged in an intense fight, which had reportedly become too real for comfort.

The actresses allegedly ended up severely bruised after the hair-pulling, slapping and scratching that supposedly went beyond what was in the script.

Weeping Kim said to have stormed out of set

A news report cited a source claiming Kim stormed out of the set weeping after Maja had checked on her if she was alright, forcing the crew to pack up.

The show's writers claim it was merely “part of the story” but they admitted they might have been “motivated” to do scene.

The two had been the best of friends until reports and Instagram images of Maja spending a weekend getaway in Davao with Kim’s former boyfriend Gerald Anderson emerged.

While Kim wished them well after stressing she has nothing to do with Gerald anymore, Kim however said in an interview that she regretted her “wasted relationship” with Maja, who was not living up to her words.

The ‘worst’ of Kim and Maja

Those behind the drama insisted it was pure coincidence that the confrontational scenes were filmed as the controversy raged on.

They said the drama was not capitalizing on their falling out to get the “worst” out of them in executing the scenes and have a bigger audience share.

But obviously, it did the job.

Kim and Maja did make a convincing performance, to say the least, and the show is now the most watched primetime TV program in the country breaching 35% in the latest Kantar Media surveys.

Coincidence? You be the judge.
