Regine to make announcement on ‘Party Pilipinas’
Regine Velasquez-Alcasid will make an announcement on "Party Pilipinas" this Sunday, April 10, GMA 7 told Yahoo! OMG! Philippines on Friday, April 8.
Asked if there's official word on Regine's announcement, Angela Javier-Cruz, GMA-7 head for entertainment publicity, told Yahoo! OMG! Philippines through a text message that they "don't know what she's going to announce."
This comes after GMA 7 announced on Thursday, April 7, that Iza Calzado will replace Regine in the hit primetime show "I ♥ You Pare" after April 11, Monday. This was due to the singer-actress' "migraine attacks," according to reports. But on the TV5 showbiz oriented talk show "Paparazzi" on Sunday, April 3, issued a "confirmation" that Regine was pregnant with her first child with husband Ogie Alcasid.
Regine and Ogie, however, have since been tightlipped on the matter.
