Rhian Ramos, Mo Twister exclusively dating

For months now, the real score between Rhian Ramos and Mo Twister's relationship remained a mystery.

In an earlier interview with Yahoo! Southeast Asia, the DJ-TV host said he's trying his best to win Rhian over.

On Tuesday, March 1, Rhian sat down with Yahoo! Southeast Asia to finally answer lingering questions on the status of her relationship with Mo.

"We are dating. I don't know. Nothing too serious, nothing very official pero I'm not the type of person that dates like two or three guys at the same time so I'm keeping it exclusive," Rhian clarified before the pocket interviews for GMA News TV's newest entertainment show, “In the Limelight.”

Meanwhile, the success of her latest movie with on-screen partner Richard Gutierrez was a pleasant surprise for her.

"I was really happy about the turnout of the movie. I actually had a fear going into it because maybe people will be sick of seeing the two of us together but that wasn't the case. I was really pleasantly surprised. Some of the bosses in GMA Films were joking with me na dapat daw magka movie na ulit kami ni Chard pero there was no formal discussion. It was merely joking around with me."

Rhian on hosting 'In the Limelight'

Rhian is thrilled to be part of GMA News TV family. She along with showbiz news reporters Nelson Canlas and Aubrey Carampel are the team that will give nightly servings of entertainment news presented in a factual way.

“’In the Limelight’ is a showbiz oriented show, a showbiz newscast that's how we always refer to it. It's a newscast because me, Aubrey, Nelson; we're not there to give people what we think happened or our opinion of what this person is doing. We're there to tell you what really did happen, who gave this person what, how much did it cost. It's always factual.  We leave it up to the people to form their opinions based on all the facts that we presented them. We're just there to give you well researched facts in the way only news and public affairs can research and present it," Rhian explained.

But how different is “In the Limelight” compared to other nightly entertainment shows?

"I'm sure people are very used to seeing showbiz tsismis shows everywhere so the thing that sets us apart is it's such a big deal that we're manned by the [GMA] News and Public Affairs team. In the country, people really look up to GMA News and Public Affairs to give them what they need. I think the ratings of ‘24 Oras’ show that. I guess GMA decided to give them [the public] more of that all day round, different topics, get more into the details of each genre of news," Rhian emphasized. "I'm not sure if I'm gonna be compared to ‘SNN’ as much as I will be compared to Pia Guanio in ‘24 Oras’ because first of all it's the same team that's doing it. I have Nelson Canlas and Aubrey Carampel who also reports for ‘Chika Minute,’ her particular segment. Of course we have it in a similar style where our similarities are, Pia and I were not there to make tsismis about what has happened. We're there to tell you what happened in detail. We're not there to tell you, 'Ah he's my friend I don't think he did that.' I'm not naman worried to being compared to shows like SNN or Juicy, not even Showbiz Central because it's completely different. It's still showbiz news, but it's presented in a whole different way," she added.

So far, Rhian is enjoying her job despite going back and forth to GMA News TV and GMA Entertainment sides.

"It's not naman that difficult, both requires you to be comfortable in the camera but I have to say I get a little bit nervous sa news and public affairs, because like when I started acting I was a little nervous naman also pero with acting kasi you have a certain amount that you're allowed to mess up around with kasi it's based on your creativity, the emotions, how the moment makes you feel. Reporting news has to be more precise. You have to give people just the truth and don't mix in your opinions kasi it's not what it's about. You're presenting it to people the way it happened so they can form their own opinion and not bias them because you fed them what to think."

The young actress-host shared that in GMA News TV's first airing, her show “In the Limelight” achieved high ratings.

"Now I'm a little less pressured and more excited. But something about me, I'm forever nervous about my job all the time but that's a good thing. Everyone should be a little bit nervous because that means they care and they want to improve. I think we're only gonna improve from here," Rhian said.

"In the Limelight" airs weeknights at 7:30pm with replays at 11am, only on GMA News TV Channel 11 (formerly QTV).
