The SAM YG Exposé: Top 6 signs that say, ‘It’s time to move on’

Sam YG: If you text 'I love you' and he/she replies 'K,' then it's time to move on.

Let’s admit it, falling in love is one of the best feelings in the world. No matter how much as you try to explain it, no words can quantify the feeling of being kilig. From exchanging messages, to going on dates and holding hands, to the peak of exchanging “I love you’s”—everything just seems to be on cloud 9.

Sometimes, though, good things have to come to an end. Yes, we all have a tendency to be tanga in love especially when our emotions declare marital law and take total control of our brains.

We do things we never thought we could and, in extreme cases, people enter what I’d like to call “Martyr Mode”—that condition when you know things aren’t working anymore but you’re too stubborn to get out of it.

So what are the signs that it’s time to move on?

Here are a few things I’ve observed:

#1 – It’s been a year since the breakup but you still stalk his/her Facebook profile page. You can’t move on if you keep digging up information about your ex. earn to let go. Stop stalking if you’ll only end up crying when you see his/her new “I’m sooo happy” photos.

#2 – If you text “I love you” and he/she replies “K.” You should get the point when you receive a reply like this.

#3 – It’s been 3 years since the breakup but you still text “Happy Anniv” every year. Wake up and look around. Your “anniv” isn’t a public holiday. Expecting a reply could be dangerous to your health.

#4 - You feel that all his/her tweets are still about you. You have to realize that not all parinig tweets are about you. Don’t put too much meaning into everything you read or you might go crazy.

#5 - You texted “I miss you” 5 months ago but still haven’t gotten a reply. Trust me, your partner has load. He/she just doesn’t want to reply.

#6 – He/she makes you an option while you make him/her a priority. Know your self-worth. Time is gold and gold is expensive; therefore, time is expensive! If your whole world and schedule starts revolving around your partner, it’s time to get out.

These are just a few modern-day signs that subtly say, “It’s time to move on”. Feel free to add to the list.
