Zsa Zsa Padilla can't tell if she'll fall in love again. But she's sure about one thing: she wants to be a grandmother.

"At this stage in my life, I'm looking forward to the day na mag-asawa ang mga anak ko," the new endorser of ZO (Zein Obagi) Skin Health she admits. "Nakita ko si Lorna (Tolentino, her cousin) at nakita ko kung gaano ka-precious sa kanya ang apo niya. Naiinggit ako."

Zsa Zsa's dreams of grandmotherhood is exerting pressure on eldest daughter Karylle, who is playing beautiful music with Spongecola vocalist Yael Yuzon.

"Tinanong nga ako ni Karylle, 'Ako ba?'" Zsa Zsa recalls.

At 48, the Divine Diva already feels awkward about finding a new romance. Besides, her late beloved Dolphy's shoes are just too big to fill.

"Dolphy is a very respected man in this country," Zsa Zsa relates. "Kapag nalaman na nawala ang partner ko sa buhay, walang mag a-attempt ng kung ano diyan."

Worlds apart

The pain remains, and Zsa Zsa admits "crying a little" every day and talking to Dolphy "even when we're worlds apart."

It helps her cope with loneliness and get on with her life.

Strangely though, Zsa Zsa has never dreamt of Dolphy the way his son Epi had. And knowing Dolphy, she understands.

"I'll end up crying, and he doesn't want me to cry."

The memories will come back when Zsa Zsa visits Dolphy's grave at Heritage Memorial Park on Tuesday, Oct. 30, a few days before All Saints' Day, her first after the Comedy King passed away on July 10.

"Mahirap ang lahat ng firsts — first Christmas without him, then New Year, Valentine's, birthday ko (May 28), birthday ng anak ko, birthday niya, then (death anniversary)," she says.

Her friend Kris Aquino is running to the rescue by cheering Zsa Zsa up. She has invited Zsa Zsa to join her and her family in Hong Kong on Oct. 31. At first, Zsa Zsa didn't want to because Hong Kong was hers and Dolphy's favorite haunt. But she finally agreed when Kris said they will go to Disneyland.

"We haven't been there as a family," Zsa Zsa explains.

She adds that her daughter Nicole will be flying to Manila from Australia on Oct. 30 to visit her dad at Heritage.

Zsa Zsa is raring to go back to work again when she returns to Manila.

One of her plans is an album dedicated to Dolphy. It will see her singing inspiring duets absout love for family with daughter Zia Quizon.

"I'm excited for this because it's a most personal album," Zsa Zsa states. "It will be Zia' s second album and will be produced by Star Records and PolyEast Records."
