Z GIRL: Zia Quizon
Our SIMPLE GIRL Zia is the BIRTHDAY GIRL. Her birthday month will forever be a memorable time for Zia as she releases her debut album, shoots her first music video, and celebrates her birthday with a Teatrino concert and an ASAP rockin' birthday. Phew! Talk about leaving your teens with a bang!
And yes, her new album is #4 OPM (#7 overall) in the Astrovision/Astroplus Top-Selling albums list from September 19-25, 2011.
Who's that girl, you ask?
She is...
TWIN GIRL. Let's start from the very beginning, the cutest place to start. No she doesn't have a twin but when she was younger, our mama Zsa Zsa Padilla would dress her and our other sister Nicole in similar clothes which made onlookers think they were twins.

BOOKWORM GIRL. Zia loves to travel with a set of her favorite books ever since she was young. Mama likes to call them "comfort books" because they make you feel at home wherever you are in the world. I do the same now too which is part of the reason why I had to pay $600 for my overweight luggage! =)
True to form, Zia's now an English Lit major in De La Salle University. But she doesn't just have her nose stuck in her books, she writes as well. She penned her first single Simple Girl which is a feat given the climate of today's local music scene. Since this album looks like a big success already, there's clamor for her other compositions which will hopefully be released soon enough.
Needless to say, Zia is also a SMART GIRL. She's on the dean's list in De La Salle University.

TRENDING TOPIC GIRL. I know what you're thinking. You can't trust what they would call a "stage sister" as a credible source but the people have spoken. Moments after Zia's impressive performance in @asapofficial, she was a certified Trending Topic on Twitter. Don't believe me? The evidence is in the screen cap below =)
GUITAR GIRL. After taking only three guitar sessions, Zia finally learned how to play the guitar on her own. She started tinkering with it ("That's what she said," she would probably say midway through this sentence) when she was nine years old.

FUNNY GIRL. In her first concert at Teatrino, the crowd laughed at her every joke. The seemingly shy girl sure knows how to deliver a punch line. She's also IMPERSONATOR GIRL. She copies people rather well. My favorite character of hers is when she copies our Grandmother Esperanza "Kating" Padilla a.k.a. Manga or the Divine Grandma.

HEARTTHROB GIRL. I can't even tell you how many guys have told me that they have a crush on Zia.
QUOTABLE QUOTES GIRL. No no no no, not that kind of cheesy quote. She often quotes lines from her favorite actors verbatim complete with matching accent and gestures. These random spurts of joy come from movies such as Waterboy, Billy Madison, Borat, Hangover 2, The Mask or TV shows like Family Guy, The Office, and SNL.
DADDY'S GIRL. Zia could've studied anywhere in the world but she chose to study in Manila to be close to her dad, King of Comedy Tito Dolphy.
SWEET GIRL. In the ASAP ROCKS dressing room on my last day before moving to Singapore, I asked Zia if she could visit me during my OFW stint. She whipped out a travel guide from her bag and told me that she already planned her activities for her Singapore trip. Now, that's what I'd like to call SWEET!

BUNSO GIRL. She is our youngest sister. I'd like to think she's the "baby" sis but I think the nickname "bunso" suits her better. But lately, bunso boy Gael Quizon is getting a lot of attention as the baby of the family. Check him out on twitter @gaelquizon. I'm not allowed to say that he's a dog though because our mom might get mad.
