'Krimmy' couple bags 'I Do' grand prize

Filipino-Korean couple Kring Elenzano and Jimmy Kim, a.k.a. the “Krimmy couple,’ proved how love transcends cultural differences when they won the grand prize in the ABS-CBN reality show "I Do" at the finale night on Saturday, November 8.

They will exchange ‘I do's' on Wednesday, November 12 in a grand wedding as part of their prize.

"Thank you so much for coming to my life. I know that you are the one. I will love you forever," Jimmy told Kring at the show’s finale night.

True love waits

Since Jimmy is Kring's first boyfriend (they have been a couple for three years now), she shared how important it is to wait for God's perfect time in finding The One.

"Lagi tayong maniwala sa true love because true love waits. Lagi po tayo magdasal para sa ating future husband or wife. Huwag natin kalimutan na ang pamilya ay napakahalaga sa bawat relasyon," Kring said.

She met her boyfriend of three years in a K-pop event.

The couple earned 56.8% of the text votes, while neighbors-turned- lovers Chad and Sheela won P500,000 for getting 43.2% of the text votes and emerging as runners-up.

Wedding finery

Kring and Jimmy also won a honeymoon and negosyo package, home appliances, P1-million and a house and lot.

Jimmy will wear a Randy Ortiz Barong Tagalog while Kring will walk down the aisle in a Pepsi Herrera  gown.

"I Do" is hosted by Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo, together with Jayson Gainza and counselors Pia Acevedo and Dr. Julian Montano.
