It really was a fantastic match," Christina Lovejoy, 1928's design director told WWD

Created by Academy Award-winning screenwriter Julian Fellowes, "Downton", as ths show is affectionately known by its legions of fans, first hit screens in the UK in September 2010. Now broadcast in countries around the world, the show has recieved plenty of plaudits from both audiences and critics, and is the most nominated non-US show in the history of the famous Emmy television awards.
