The 2015 Tribeca Film Festival has announced the winners of its 14th annual event.

"Virgin Mountain" by Dagur Kari claimed the best world narrative feature prize, with Camilla Nielsson scooping best world documentary for 'Democrats'.

"Door Into the Dark," created by Amy Rose and May Abdalla at Anagram, won the Bombay Sapphire Storyscapes Award for its immersive approach which integrated interactive technology within vivid documentary storytelling.

"Bridgend" also picked up a number of awards, including Best Actress in a Narrative Feature Film (Hannah Murray as Sara), Best Cinematography and Best Narrative Editing.

Winners were awarded with various cash prizes, with $175,000 in prize money in total distributed among them, reports Deadline.

The jury selected the winners from 101 feature films, 60 shorts and five "immersive storytelling projects" submitted from 38 countries.

The festival continues through to April 26, with the winning films to be screened on the final day at venues across New York City.
