The late Jo Sung Min′s family discovered a will amongst the deceased′s possessions.

In a phone call with enews on January 14, a rep from the Seoul Suseo Police Agency said, "We were told a will from the deceased had been found. The police received the will from his family."

In the handwritten will, Jo Sung Min addresses his parents and his two children, apologizing to them before taking his own life.

Jo Sung Min was found dead in an apartment in Dogok-dong on January 6. Autopsies confirmed that he had committed suicide.

According to police, the will was found in the deceased′s knapsack while his family had been looking through his possessions.

He said toward his parents, "I′m sorry toward my father and my mother. I was always a bad son, and again I leave this scar stamped on their hearts. Please forgive this bad son."

Toward his children, Hwan Hee and Joon Hee, he said, "My son and daughter, Hwan Hee and Joon Hee, whom I love, will be left with an unbearable scar from even their father. I am sorry toward my babies... Never forgive your bad parents."

An official stated, "All of the deceased′s possessions were gathered in Yangsu-ri, and the will was found when they were being checked. There is nothing there that warrants suspicion. We hope you will continue to show respect for the deceased."
