Ailee Invited to Grammy Awards as a VIP Guest
After picking up a number of rookie artist awards in 2012, Ailee is kicking things off in 2013 by attending the upcoming Grammy Awards.
Ailee will be attending both the ceremony and walking the red carpet of the upcoming 55th Grammy Awards at the LA Staples Center after being invited as a VIP guest
She will be attending with producer Tony Maserati who is a nominee this year in the ‘Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical’ category.
Tony Maserati is a famed engineer and music producer who has worked with such mega stars as Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas and more.
Before the actual Grammy Awards, Ailee will attend and perform at Mnet America’s Pre-Grammy Party on February 7.
This event will take place at the EastWest Studio to celebrate the rising success of Asian pop music. Ailee will also receive a ‘Mnet America Rising Star’ award.
Regarding her upcoming whirlwind activities, Ailee said, “After I found out I was invited to the Grammy Awards, I was happy to the point I had trouble sleeping. The Grammy Awards is my dream stage. Though I’m attending as a VIP guest this time, I will work hard to make sure I will one day stand on stage as an actual nominee.”
The 55th Grammy Awards will take place on February 10.
