America's 'THE FADER' headlines a solo interview of CL

CL's interview with 'THE FADER' was released.

On April 15th (local time), American music magazine 'THE FADER' released an interview that they had with 2NE1's CL recently through their official website.

During the interview, CL talked about a device that producer Scooter Braun gave her while getting ready for her official US debut.

CL told that Scooter said to her, "Be a boss ass bitch."

"I have more freedom with Scooter," CL continued, expressing her particular love for Scooter Braun.

'THE FADER' wrote, "Part rapper and part singer, she's beautiful, talented, swaggy, and fluent in English due to a youth spent in international schools. She's got big supporters, too: she has been recording with Skrillex, Diplo, and will.i.am, and her career is being co-managed by YG and Scooter Braun, the impresario who launched Justin Bieber and Carly Rae Jepsen."

They continued, "Her solo album doesn't have a title or a release date yet, but CL seems content to be figuring things out as she goes."

In the later part of the interview, CL said, "Back in Korea, I'm always in the studio with YG people. I'd be given a song, and I'd cut it. But here, I write completely by myself. The last time I recorded at the house, I just invited my friends over to feel a little more natural. I'm feeling artistic."

Meanwhile, CL signed a management contract with Scooter Braun's SB PROJECTS for her official US debut, and she is residing in the US, getting ready for her debut in the region.
