Are Mylene Dizon and Jason Webb ready to settle down?

Actress Mylene Dizon was straightforward in confirming her relationship with San Mig Coffee assistant coach Jason Webb.

"Finally let it all out? I never kept it anyway. It was never a secret,” she told Yahoo Philippines on Tuesday (August 5) after the gala screening of “1st Ko Si Third,” a Cinemalaya new breed entry, at the Cultural Center of the Philippines in Pasay City.

The 10-month-old couple, however, is still far from settling down.

"No, no plans yet. We’ve only been going out for 10 months. I think it’s too soon to plan anything. We’re just taking it one day at a time."

‘Normal relationship'

The 39-year-old actress related that hers and Jason's kids from previous relationships get along.

"They know each other. They played a couple of times. We’ve hung out a couple of times at the mall or wherever.”

Jason has two daughters (aged 8 and 10) by his former wife, TV host Claudine Trillo, while Mylene has two sons (aged 5 and 9) by ex-partner Paolo Paraiso.

Mylene shared they maintain “very good" relationships with each other’s families.

"He has only met my sister because my family is in the States, but I’ve met the rest of his family and I’m actually very good friends with some of his siblings even before I got to meet him. We’re all good.”

Speaking of family, the couple joined some of Jason’s siblings in supporting their dad Freddie Webb's reunion project with Nova Villa.

The former “Chicks to Chicks” loveteam star in Real Florido’s “1st Ko Si 3rd,” the story of Cory, a 65-year-old woman reunited with her first love, Third.

"It was funny and heartwarming. I’m a huge fan of these two growing up, which means I’m old,” Mylene quipped. "It’s really nice to see them on the big screen.”

Indie movies

Mylene, who starred in indie films “a million times”, hailed young filmmakers who constantly deliver fresh ideas and quality films for Cinemalaya.

"I’m very hopeful that kids will continue to do more of these films. I’m generally happy because there’s more work for everybody.”

Her latest is Milo Sogueco’s “Mariquina,” also in competition under the News Breed category.

Mylene won a Cinemalaya Best Actress in 2008 for “100."
