MTV UK is reporting that two of the decade’s biggest acts are in possible talks to reunite and embark on a world tour together.

Yes, boys and girls, you may yet see the Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys…TOGETHER…in your lifetime.

According to reports, Backstreet Boys’ lead vocalist Brian Littrell are in talks with the girls to make this happen.

Sans Posh

“We are actually in early talks about maybe doing a world tour together with the Spice Girls,” he told The Sun newspaper.

In this case, he means just four of the Spice Girls without Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham, who has said she won’t be part of the group.

The Spice Girls last performed as a group during the 2012 Olympics in London.

Another ‘Wannabe’ reunion?

Victoria Beckham told Vanity Fair that their Olympic reunion was “perfect time to say, ‘That’s great. Thank you to everybody, but no more.’”

Nevertheless, Sporty Spice has hinted that the (Posh-less) Spice Girls may reunite in 2016, when their song “Wannabe” turns 20-years-old.

Meanwhile, the Backstreet Boys continue to tour, with US dates set this year featuring their guest Avril Lavigne.
