Asymmetrical 'Wing' chair makes conversations easier

Ever wished there was an office chair that could make impromptu meetings and discussions more private?

The Cristiana Wing Chair is an asymmetrical armchair which features one single arm and wing to allow people to sit in a more relaxed position when conversing with one another.

The wing also has acoustic benefits, acting as a sound barrier.

The latest piece from British studio Davison Highley, the concept was designed following the observation that people commonly lean forward, crunching up their diaphragms, when conversing sitting down.

By placing two asymmetrical chairs together, alongside a specially designed table, the Cristiana Wing provides a collaborative and private environment.

The contemporary seat is available in a variety of color-contrasted hues, with prices starting from £2,975.

The piece is based on an original design by Cristiana Ionescu, a Master's Graduate from Bucks New University.
