Blur's 'Ong Ong' video channels 80s digital vibe

British band Blur have released the official video for "Ong Ong," the fourth single from April 2015 album "The Magic Whip."

The video features Mr. OK, a spherical yellow being, on a quest to find Ms. OK, suddenly transported onto the upper level of a far-off pagoda.

It takes after a 1980s video game aesthetic, bookended by live-action shots of band members Dave Rowntree, Alex James, Graham Coxon and Damon Albarn as Mr. OK's four main adversaries.

Three other album tracks -- "Go Out," "There Are Too Many of Us," and "Lonesome Street," -- preceded the release of "The Magic Whip" on April 27.

The album's cover art designer, British-born Chinese artist Tony Hung, directed the video, as well as that for "Go Out" in which Mr. OK also appeared.

All four videos have featured Chinese text, though "Ong Ong" less prominently than the others; initial sessions for "The Magic Whip" were recorded in Hong Kong, May 2013.
