Bryan Revilla hopes police finding implicating family members is false

Bryan Revilla, Sen. Bong Revilla’s eldest son hopes a police probe implicating family members Ramon Joseph “RJ” Bautista and Ramona Bautista in the murder of Ramgen “Ram” Revilla is not true.

"I really hope na hindi po totoo yun. Kasi pamilya, he's another member of our family. Nawalan na ng isa, tapos may mawawala pa,” Bryan told Boy Abunda in an interview on “Bandila” yesterday.

Ram was shot and stabbed to death last October 28 in their house in BF Homes Parañaque City. His siblings, Ramona and RJ were charged with murder and frustrated murder along with other suspects. RJ is accused of plotting the murder while Ramona is tagged as an accessory to the crime.

On Thursday’s press conference with Parañaque City Police, Chief Inspector Enrique Sy said Ram’s girlfriend, Janelle Manahan, contradicted Ramona’s statement that she (Ramona) was abducted after Ram was murdered.

Bryan says they still don’t have a clue as to who the real suspects are. He adds that he cannot comment on whether a love triangle is involved.

"As of today, we still have no clue. Sana naman mabigyan na ng hustisya ang tito ko. No one deserves to be treated like this,” he declares.

Hurt

At her son’s burial, Genelyn Magsaysay, Ram’s mother said she feels bad toward some of Ram’s half siblings.

“Nagtatampo ako sa ilang kapatid ni Ram sa kabila. May malaking tao na sumisira sa aming pamilya. Hindi kaya ng anak ko na pumatay sa sariling kapatid,” she says.

Asked to react on Genelyn’s statement, Bryan just said, “No comment.”

Bong asked for a reinvestigation of the case.

"I hope na sana hindi po totoo yung findings ng mga pulis. Kasi we can't afford to lose another family member. Masyado na pong masakit sa pamilya namin," Bryan explains.

He adds that he doesn’t know who killed his uncle Ram.

"I really have no idea. If I did, ewan ko na.  I just wish na my uncle will be given justice na para matahimik na, matapos na itong lahat,” Bryan relates.
He adds that his family is going through so much right now.

Incredulous

"I can't believe this is actually happening to our family now. I already lost an uncle tapos, our family is going through so much already,” Bryan laments.

Bryan reveals that he hasn’t seen Ram for a long time. But he knows Ram is very protective of his siblings.

“Pareho kaming panganay niyan, eh. So, kung paano niya protektahan ang mga kapatid niya, pretty much the same way din on how I protect my younger siblings," Bryan reveals.

He shares that his grandfather, Ramon Revilla Sr. is doing fine, days after he was  brought to the hospital due to fever and high blood pressure.

"My lolo is doing fine. Kalalabas niya lang po ng hospital today. As we speak, my parents are actually there with him," he says.

Bryan insists he doesn’t know where Ramona is, despite reports that she is under Bong’s custody.

"I have no idea where she is.  She's not in our custody,” Bryan explains.
