Carla admits problems in relationship with Geoff
Carla Abellana admitted she and boyfriend of three years Geoff Eigenmann are experiencing problems, but she thinks these are not enough to ruin their long-running relationship.
“Sayang din ang three-and-a-half years,” she said at the inauguration and blessing of her new business, The Nail Box Salon, along Scout Gandia st., Barangay Laging Handa, Quezon City.
Carla explained these problems don’t happen often. In fact, they just crop up once a year.
But since she and Geoff happens to be a celebrity couple, every problem in their relationship becomes an issue and the subject of speculations.
Carla concedes Geoff’s mom, actress-director Gina Alajar is concerned about her relationship with her son. The young actress says Gina must have noticed something was amiss when she saw her son at home. So she sent Carla a text message at once.
Mom is affected
“Hindi masalita si Geoff, kaya siguro dumiretso na sa akin si Direk Gina. Medyo affected din siya,” says Carla.
The young actress admits Geoff influenced her to venture into her own business since he himself co-owns Reluxe Spa, also in Quezon City, with fellow PPL (Perry P. Lansigan) talents.
“Supportive naman siya. I invited him over because in a way, he’s part of the family,” says Carla.
But Carla’s business with her mom is different because it focuses on nails.
“Favorite namin ng mom at sis ko ang manicure and pedicure. High school pa lang ako mahilig na ko don. E magandang business ang kung ano ang bisyo mo. Nandoon ang puso mo. Sana lumaki pa siya at magkaroon ng branches.”
Also present in the blessing were Carla's grandmother Delia Razon and former actress Liezl Martinez.
