Carmina’s twins give her 'A rating' as mom
Carmina Villarroel is one lucky mom.
Her children (by husband Zoren Legaspi) adore her. If you were to ask 12-year-old twins Mavy and Cassy to rate their mom, the actress-host would get a straight A.
“She’s working for us and I respect that,” 12-year-old Mavy says at the launch of Breeze with ActivBleach, which they endorse with Carmina
The twins, young as they are, show their appreciation in their own little but well-appreciated way.
Cassy, a spitting image of her mother, does her best to make Carmina laugh because the girl believes it’s a great way to relieve work-related stress.

Her brother Mavy is just as caring.
“When she has free time (whch is not often), I give her my best. I make it her time. I make it fun so she will remember her time with us when she’s working.”
Mavy notes that Carmina goes home straight from work to bond with him and Cassy.
Long-forgotten games
Carmina kicks off her shoes, lets her hair down, and plays games, not just any game, but the long-forgotten ones – patintero and taguan, with her children, Dainty Carmina doesn’t mind huffing and puffing around the neighborhood in a bike, with the twins pedaling away beside her.
“I get down and dirty with Mavy and Cassy,” states Carmina.
The flurry of activity keeps the twins away from sedentary play like video games and – more importantly – strengthens their bond with Carmina (and Zoren). Result: Mavy and Cassy are not just good-looking. They’re well-behaved as well.

Remember, they helped pull off Zoren’s plan to marry Carmina, without breathing a word to their mom.
Self-control and discipline
“We were trained to control ourselves and be disciplined,’ explains Mavy.
Respect for Mom and Dad also taught the twins to prefer their company over kids their age when their parents have free time.
Mavy would rather go to the mall with Carmina and Zoren than stay hunched in front of the computer.
Carmina and Zoren’s fair-haired boy speaks with the wisdom of an adult when he says, “I advise kids to cut down on too much videos.”

“Find time for yourself. Keep using your creativity,” Cassy chimes in. The girl adores her parents so much, Cassy has decided (with her parents’ consent) to enter showbiz three years from now, when she turns 15.
But make no mistake. No amount of TV commercials can take away the kid in Mavy and Cassy.
“A bit pressured”
They admit feeling “a bit pressured” to always look their best because they started doing TV commercials at the tender age of four.
Mavy, however, doesn’t’ mind slipping into something a lot more casual when he plays basketball.
The slight pressure is something the twins can live with, especially when you have a mom like Carmina and a dad like Zoren, who make things easier and simpler for you.
Mavy and Cassy do showbiz children proud. They may enjoy the trappings of showbiz, but they manage to have the level-headedness of well-raised kids.
