Celebs happy for soon-to-be parents Melai and Jason
Celebrities expressed their excitement for Melai Cantiveros and Jason Francisco, who admitted on “The Buzz” on Sunday, Sept. 8 that they will soon be first-time parents.
In an interview at the Star Magic Ball on Saturday, September 7, Jason Gainza shared that he approves of Melai and his namesake’s relationship.
“Oo naman kasi iyon naman talaga ang mahal niya, si Jason.”
Jason (Gainza) added, “Nagkausap kami nung isang araw. Iyon nga raw nahihirapan siya dahil suka ng suka. Talagang ganoon. Tinatanong niya rin ang misis ko. Sabi ko, ‘Okay lang iyan, malalagpasan mo rin iyan.’”
Pokwang, who used to work with Melai in the noontime show “Happy Yipee Yehey,” also expressed support for the future parents.
"Kung masaya sila doon at blessing iyon, why not?"
Pokwang hasn't talked to Melai personally. But she (Pokwang) is open to giving her friend pieces of advice.
"Anytime naman, open naman ako para kausapin si Melai. Alam mo na anak-anakan ko iyon."
Melai’s “Banana Split” co-star Ryan Bang told the press he is excited for the couple.
Happiness and admiration
Alex Gonzaga tweeted that she is happy for Melai.
