After seeing her new photos, one of which shows her in a polo, bowtie and slacks, Charice’s grandmother Tess Relucio has appealed to the international singer to return to her old image.

Pamilya pa rin bunso,” Relucio said in an interview on “The Buzz” on Sunday, May 5.

While Charice’s grandmother disapproves of her changed image, she tries to understand the singer because she is important to her.

Lumaki ka, wala kang peklat,” Reluciio went on.

She  also appealed to Charice’s fans, the Chasters.

Charice’s recent photos sent netizens abuzz. Some were shocked over her changed image and even questioned her sexuality. Others defended Charice, saying that it is right for her to choose her own hairstyle and way of dressing.  Charice also has a couple of tattoos on her body.
