Chinese version of PSY's 'Father' getting hot reactions in China

Chinese version of PSY's 'Father' is getting hot reactions in China.

On March 26th, Chinese version of PSY's 'Father,' which was released through Chinese online music website called QQ, debuted #1 on QQ Music Trend Chart on March 28th.

Rankings on QQ Music Trend Chart get decided based on the number of streaming each week, and 'Father' attained 1,872,566 streaming by March 28th morning.

The streaming skyrocketed by 92% and 61% during following 48 hours, proving their colossal popularity once again.

Prominent Chinese pianist Lang Lang (郞朗) has participated in rearrangement of the song, and also made a piano featuring.

PSY and Lang Lang had met each other for the first time during the opening ceremony of '2014 Incheon Asian Games,' which was held on September 19th, 2014.

Meanwhile, PSY garnered the 'Most Influential Global Artist' during '2015 QQ MUSIC AWARDS,' which was held in Shenzhen on March 25th. After receiving the award, PSY showcased the Chinese version of 'Father' for the first time, saying that he dedicates the song to every father in this world.
