Christoph Waltz is the next "Bond" villain

15 Nov – The latest film in the "James Bond" franchise, currently known as "James Bond 24" has apparently got two-time Oscar winner, Christoph Waltz to take on the villain role in the film, The Wrap reports.

Directed by Sam Mendes who also directed "Skyfall", Waltz will be joining Daniel Craig, Léa Seydoux, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw and Dave Bautista in the upcoming "Bond" film.

The Wrap also reported that the antagonist role was first offered to Chiwetel Ejiofor, but the deal never made it through, therefore, it is believed that that Waltz will now take on the role.

The filming of the 24th "James Bond" film is expected to start in early December through April 2015 on location in Mexico, Morocco, Austria, Italy and London.

The film is slated for a release on 6 November 2016.

Waltz who won Oscars for "Inglourious Basterds" and "Django Unchained", has three upcoming movies; "Big Eyes", "Tarzan", and "Horrible Bosses 2".
